The Town received a request for certification that town highway #45, aka the Ricker Bridge Rd, having .02 miles off Rt. 113 was open to public access. Stone moved to sign the certificate. All were in favor and Stone, as Chair of the Board, signed the form.

A resolution for a Municipal Planning Grant that the Planning Commission recommended was discussed. McKee made a motion that Bill Baylis, as Chair of the Planning Commission, be authorized to sign the resolution paperwork. French seconded.
All were in favor and Baylis will be asked to be the contact for the planning grant.

McKee reported that he had written an article for the upcoming town newsletter, on the Board’s behalf. McKee also reported that the recent Local Planning Emergency Commission meeting held in Tunbridge was attended by the 5 Vershire delegates on April 15th. The major expressed concern was potential localized flooding, which Vershire experienced in August 2008 and Chelsea in August 2009. The group received valuable information at the meeting. It was suggested that a list of residents, that may need extra assistance due to physical limitations in an emergency, be compiled and the question of how to handle residents that refused to vacate upon request was discussed. This information comes at a time, when many areas of NE have experienced weather situations resulting in unprecedented damage. Discussion followed as to where might be the best place for displaced residents should the need arise.

Meeting adjourned at 7:50pm
